Swedish Crime Barometer

The Swedish Crime Barometer shows the total accumulated number of reported crimes, as well as various selected crime categories and the percentage change compared to the previous year. The Swedish Crime Barometer is updated every month.

The Swedish Crime Barometer comprises incidents that have been reported and registered as crimes by the police, customs and public prosecutors in Sweden. This means, for example, that reported incidents that, after a completed investigation, prove not to be a crime, or where a crime cannot be proved, are also included in the statistics.
